Bird Flight Simulator is a flight simulator for Windows to be developed by Stentec. The software will be improved during the years upto a very realistic level, using all available modern technology.
BFS is based on the same DirectX Simulation Technology that is used for Sail Simulator 4. An integration of Microsofts DirectX and Stentec's simulation technology. For more info see www.stentec.com/dxsimulationtechnology.html.
New developments combine Multi-Threading technology with our DXS-engine for Multi-player on a network or the internet.
It's for everyone who is dreaming about flying like a bird and is interested in the physics and biology behind it. Users will be given the experience of being a bird, sensing the wind and surviving in a virtual surrounding. They will understand real bird behaviour better and will be able to judge flying skills.
Our BFS could be of interest for anyone who is interested in the natural bird flight behaviour or likes flight simulation software using light aircrafts or hang gliders. Both mentioned groups are covering a couple of million people worldwide.
Remember: Being a bird flying in the wind is more fun than flying an aerplane !
